When these shots were taken I planned ahead to shoot from the same place and align the pic's later and see what I could come up with. I have seen some very creative color+IR blends and masks that are very good. I guess this shot is one you would really have to be there to feel what was there. The far left side is far better and the left side of this shot appeals to me. I also took enough shots to make a panorama and that helps it out. I felt the texture of the IR highlights on the bushes are the biggest plus for me as I am very into this,,,they carry more into this picture then just shadows from the normal shot. As it is my first attempt, I was very pleased at just
getting the alignment close. I can understand what you mean by best shot, I don't always post my best shots, but this was interesting for me.
