It's all DDR2 6400 800mhz now LOL
To be honest if your machine does what you need to now, even if a tad slow then stick with it.
Just make sure you remove all unwanted applications, defrag your drives regularly and keep the machines hard drives tidy
I upgraded last year to run Vista 64bit, funny thing is I'm now back running XP pro
