One USB printer Two computers

This idea may be worth considering Anthraquinone.

It's not easy to connect 2 or 3 computers to the same printer unless you have a network set up in your home. And of course, it seems pretty wastefull to go and buy a printer for both of your computers.

You may consider using three USB Bluetooth Dongles to transmit over a distance of up to 30 mtrs . By having a USB dongle attached to each computer, and a Bluetooth USB dongle plugged into your printer usb port you can share your printer with your PC's.
This way you eliminate the usb cables running around the room.
You can purchase the usb Bluetooth dongles for about £5 each now.

You must have the printer drivers installed on both computers though.
