I like the waves and the composition, using the groyne as a lead line. The thing that I don't like is the lens flare to the left of the sign. Lens flare can be quite attractive in a picture but only when we can see the source of light, here it looks more by accident than design and there is no strong light source within the frame which makes the lens flare intrusive.

I would also like to see the horizon either a touch lower or higher (preferably the latter) as it is going through the centre of the picture at the moment, acting as a dividing line so to speak.

You could definitely improve this pic though, you only need to clone out the lens flare and crop some of the sky in order to raise the horizon. Worth it as the rest of the picture has a lot going for it
