Re: 22" widescreen monitor recommendations please!

I have been using IIyama proline LCD TFT monitors since they came on the market.

My old 15" one is still going after 8 years with no dead pixels and no sign of degridation.

My 19" Proline that I bought when I got my new PC last august is still stunning

Iiyama 22" TFT LCD Monitor ProLite E2202WS-B1 Wide 5ms 1000:1 1x VGA 1x DVI-D 21.6" Visible Black (3 years on-site Warranty) - PLE2202WS-B1 - www.microdirect.co.uk

This 22" is a stunner but maybe look at LG I have just given my mate my old slow 12ms LG Flatron that was a good monitor also with no pixel faults.

LG 22" TFT LCD Monitor L226WTQ Widescreen DVI 2ms Black & Silver 5000:1 Tilt Revision 2 (3yr Manufacturer's Warranty) - L226WTQ-SF - www.microdirect.co.uk

This one would be a good bet especially as it has a 3000:1 contrast ratio.

Only one question why Widescreen ?

Unless you want to watch TV or have a panoramic camera there seems no point to me ?
