I'd guess the answer is "probably" - without knowing what the specific lens is, it's difficult to be more certain but if it's a Canon fit then almost certainly.

Just as it's possible to fit non-Canon M42 (42mm screw-fit) lens with an appropriate adapter (but care has to be taken that there's no rear projecting parts which could damage the mirror. I've a few M42 lenses which I've successfully used with my Sigma camera - a superb way of acquiring quality lenses with minimal outlay
