Yep it works now, and I think you have chosen the correct route for this one

I've got to say that this does not do much for me. The use of a machete has no context, and I can't work out if the shadows on her face have been worked on, or if the lighting is just very uneven. The skin tones are so varied.

Her pose accentuates her chin and the shoulder line is not flattering.

Of course, I don't know what you were trying to get out the shot. If it was to provide a flattering image of the model, it (for me) has failed. If you are trying to give a message or illustrate something, again for me it does not work.

Sorry for being negative, but it is only my view. Others might differ.
