Actually I just realised from reading the release notes that from 1.3 you can use the vignette control on jpg's and tif's too. As I always shoot in RAW (not in "the raw"
) I didn't realise it could be used on those formats too from 1.3. The question about the Canon files being edited in Capture NX is a good one though.
