Zooming with the mousewheel is an option you can set on PSE 6 - I had the same gripe for the first few minutes until I found the relevant checkbox.

I'm still using Adobe RAW which is what I was using with PSE 5. Is that what you are using or is there something else tucked away with v6 that I didn't notice?

All in all I'm happy with PSE 6. It's annoying that as an upgrade customer you only save £10 off the list price but can't have everything. I'm sure I would like Lightroom but lots of things on the shopping list before that.
