im afraid i cant post the problem image as its of my second cousin and doesn't have a release form and is of a child so i'd rather not (not that i don't trust this community, just the internet in general )

i have a feeling it may be because of not getting the lighting quite right and possibly needing an umberella for the other studio light (one has a reflector the other the umbrella)

regarding editing, although i tweak the exposure and brightness etc i didn't have to do much else with this batch, came out shockingly well and to be honest i want the soft effect for babys photographs but i agree slight sharpening often helps
