Ok my first observation is a question ... where's the ball?! Most footy shots I've seen actually have the ball in the shot

So, trying to find an alternative reason for your taking this shot, my attention falls onto a few other observations: He looks peeved or concerned (I deduce this by the frown on his face

) so that makes me wonder what he's peeved at, which is a good thing as it holds my attention while I wonder this

But I can't see the answer within the shot, and that's a bit frustrating for the viewer, 'cos it means I have to ask you ... what's the story here?
Next I notice that it's raining, which adds a bit of interest to the shot.
Colours look good, although there is a lot of strong red in the BG which I find quite distracting.
You've used DoF to good effect - I can see there is a crowd behind him, but they are just enough out of focus that they're not taking my attention away from Ronaldo (ignoring the distracting red for the moment).
Focusing - seems to have fallen onto his chest rather than his face, where it ought to be.
Exposure looks to be spot on.
Composition is good.
Subject matter - as I said, a footballer without a football in sight does seem to be lacking IMHO.
Hope you find my comments helpful - let's see some more
