Isn't f/2 half a stop up from f/2.8, just like 1.4 is half a stop up from 1.8
Or have I got it all wrong
i.e. My understanding is that Rob is right, it goes f/1.8 then f/2.8, then f/4 etc. but as I say I could be wrong.
