If you need the zoom facility then one of the best would be the Nikon 70-200 VR f/2.8 .... but it is expensive. I had the Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 at half the price, which was very good. Note though , that any zoom telephoto with f/2.8 will weigh a fair bit, so take that in to account.
TheNikon 70-300mm VR is not as optically good as the above, but still does a good job (see links below)
