Thanks for the pics Dabhand 16. The quality of the lens is good no question about that.

There are, as I see it, pros and cons between the two lenses . For indoor usage the Sigma 70-200 mm f/2.8 EX DG APO Macro has the extra stop of aperture but is a shade heavier and is a bit more costly. On the other hand the Canon 70-200mm f/4L USM is lighter, cheaper and maybe slightly more reliable in build quality terms. Does the benefit of the one stop faster lens balance against the problem at least one forumite seems to have had with the Sigma or was he just unlucky?
