Much prefer the HDR version myself. I find that as someone accustomed to looking at photographs for many years I often find that HDR images look 'wrong' but I think as much as anything that is because I have trained myself to look at images in a particular way - a way that is no longer applicable (or not as applicable) in the world of digital imagery.

I guess I'm not as dead-set against HDR as I thought I was
