I shoot in raw, I'll always shoot in raw. It can be a bit tedious at times when doing post-shot processing but it makes me really evaluate which images I want to keep and process. In addition I can take a single shot and create B&W, colour, Sepia, 2 stop over and under exposures for HDR variants all non-destructively.

Shooting both may be the best for some people as then you have the quick fix jpegs which may do the majority of the time with the flexibility to process raw for those occasions where you need to.

Hey Jack - I made a mistake btw. They weren't picture controls, they were Capture NX picture control presets for different image types (I think once loaded you can then save that out as a picture control). They work great though (I use them within Capture NX). I've asked if I can forward them to you and am just awaiting a response.
