The second one is far more impressive as it is clean and uncluttered and also has an almost studio feel about it with the dark background.

The first one is a better shot with the contrasts of the butterfly against the red petal and the better angle giving a three dimensional feel but it is let down by the blurred foreground foliage that has crept in to the lower left and centre sections of the picture. Maybe a slight move to the right would have allowed you to remove these distractions?

I know these shots are incredibly hard to capture and it’s easy for me to comment but those are the differences between good amateur photos and award winning pro shots.

Both are excellent pics though
