I would not buy the latest model camera even if I had no budget limit. It would be far better to get used to one Camera and learn how to use it so you can stop thinking about the camera and get on to photography. Of course if a new Camera has some specific new feature you need, then fine, but there is little point changing just for the sake of it. My current Camera is 3 years old and I have no plans to replace it yet though a 5D Mk II would be attractive. I had my previous Camera for 15 years and I tend to keep cars for 10 years.
