I agree with Graham, the crop on the left is unnecessary. I think the whole image is about 0.5 to 1 stop too dark, I'd give it a lift with the curves tool if you have PS or similar.

The colour of the BG is not what I would have chosen as it is almost the same colour as the heads of the pistils. Although most of them are against the white petals, two are against the BG and are getting lost.

Have another go at this Bain and see what else you can come up with, I am sure you'll have a framer very soon! Remember to think about the foreground and background and the orientation as well as the main subject itself
