Re: Reason ive not been around much!!!

Love the bike Gary. I too am seriously considering getting a cheap bike, not a flash dasher like yours, to try and reduce my HUGE petrol bill. I drive a Honda Accord 2.0 litre and have to say I love the car, hate the petrol consumption. I have a 25 mile round trip to work every day and then minor trips elsewhere to town, church, etc. and I generally am putting in £45 - £50 a week now which is just horrendous. Add to that parking costs as well and I am spening a massive portion of my wages simply on getting to and from work.

I fancy picking up a simple 125cc bike to use for work which I estimate would cost me about a tenner a week in petrol, saving me about £35 because I would also not have to pay to park (can park a bike on the grounds at work). With the true inflation rate soaring faster than a helium filled balloon, saving £140 per lunar month has got to be worth looking at.

Cheers,
Rob
