I thought about this. One-stop price £238 for the OS. But this is intended as being 'casual kit' for when I don't want to take my standard bag. I don't have any stabilised lenses in my kit, so it will be consistant! The non OS one is very light too, so that will help in the shake stakes.

Yes AQ - my first thoughts were in this direction, but the size and weight of them are similar to a dSLR, and although there is a shortfall in the zoom range, I think that the familiarality with the D70s, a plentiful supply of CF cards, some filters that will fit and actually finding a use for my spare body is a fair trade for this and having to adapt to a new camera. Also, I'm looking at only spending around £200 or less, so VFM is good.
