Ansell Adams, Cartier- Bresson and the others who originally formed Magnum with him - probably the greatest collection of photographic talent ever seen. Apart from that I have a huge admiration for war photographers. I remember reading about a war photographer in Vietnam who was up at the front with the troops when he became aware that someone was continually shooting at him. He said to the grunts "Hey guys, someone's trying to kill me" They knew at once what he meant - soldiers in battle will pick out one guy out of total perversity or whatever and keep targeting him for the hell of it! They covered him as best they could with covering fire, but he just carried on doing his job, armed with just a camera.
