Forgive the n00b question.
But what does this hold over having the kit lens?
I understand that 50mm is pretty much what the 'eye' sees, but considering the kit lens covers 18-55 anyway, is it really such as necessary a purchase as it seems? If so, why?
Or am I missing something?
