I think the main problem is the composition, I really can't see what this is or work out what I'm supposed to be looking at. At the moment its a bit of background with a large section of mud in the middle.
I don't know if there is a better way to compose this but I would try a different angle, but then I can't actually work out what shape this outcropping is.
Just my thoughts of course!
