The haze of the distance probably made it a little easier but it's not a bad job at all. Shame about the air brake (?) partly obscuring the pilot.

You are correct, I slid the caravan along half a width and removed the tail of the other plane. I had a go at removing the flap or brake or whatever but couldnt get it clean enough. See below but note that caravan is in the original position.
