I hate to say it but for exactly the same reasons as dod has typed above my choice would also be the 1D MkII n and actually save some money if you can still source a non "n" model.
If you where shooting landscapes and the weatherproofing didn't interest you then the 5D would probably be a better choice but you aint and it does, if you see what I mean
