Thanks Doddy - you're all heart! I think I missed the "Why" in your earlier question? I'm not dissatisfied with the 20D - far from it, but I've had a couple of rainy days with it recently and I've spent more time worrying about keeping it dry than taking shots, which was also a problem for most of the gang on the Chester Zoo trip. So that's one big factor and there are other advantages - faster autofocus, spot and multi spot metering - a huuuge buffer, writing to CF and SD cards simultaneously (and at the same time) the list goes on.
And the real clincher is it just feels like it's carved from a brick and I want a ****er.
