There's a row of spotlights down each side if you look carefully, right at the top of the picture. Since you've got lensflare artifacts in exactly the same position on both sides of the picture, I'd put money on those spotlights being the cause of the anomalies in the picture. Easily photoshopped out, though, and certainly nothing I'd be worrying about.
