Re: Poor service from Mifsuds

I bought a Nikon F5 off Mifsuds back in 2012. It was described as Mint - .

It arrived boxed in utterly FLAWLESS "as described" condition the following day c/w instructions,box eyecup and strap. A set of batteries were also included. I carefully examined the camera and the 'Minus' bit was for an almost invisible mark on the right of the baseplate.

I worked for Jessops back in the day and have extensive experience of purchasing and testing 35mm kit and had it not been as described I would certainly have been onto them.

Breakdown in customer-dealer relationships is always regrettable but sometimes these things happen. And I'm not going to defend any instances of bad service, Mifsuds were AFAIK legally speaking acting correctly when they stated they would send the lens off to Nikon UK.Whether it's good for customer relations is another matter. They would have to prove the lens wasn't faulty when sold which of couse is where Nikon UK came in..

Whilst I don't question the situation here it's somewhat different to my personal experience.
