At a guess it could be zonealarm or some other setting - or it could be your ISP causing the problem.
I sometimes cannot see a picture because ntl's tranparent proxy decides to show me a red X instead. Ctrl-f5 will sometimes force a refresh and show the picture....sometimes not.
I can get round it by changing settings but that sometimes causes other problems.
So nothing constructive but you are not alone
