Yeah thats what I told him, but BMW have replaced them all under warranty and rewired most of the car's electrics as well. He's been without it for nearly 3 months out of the 11 he's owned it from new.
He's now arguing with BMW UK to try and reject it and get his money back as he's so fed up with it. He should've bought a Honda
