i just upgraded from a 300d this week. i was all set on getting a 350d as it offered me all i needed, however i went for the 20d.

firstly, if i'd bought the 350d i would always have a feeling that 6 months down the line, i'd want to upgrade again. while i could have bought it and sold it on when i upgraded, i would still lose money.
and i got a great staff purchase price on a mint b stock kit.

i only wish that id bought the 20d when it first came out. i was offered one at a good price when it was released, but as i was just starting out in digital photography i bought an fz-20, partly because i thought th 20d would be more than i needed. i could have grown into it though and i found the fz-20 way to limiting after only a few months. you could feel the same about the 350 if you get that.
you want to upgrade the 300d so you must be finding it a bit limiting, otherwise theres no need to upgrade, the 350 doesnt really offer you that much more.
if i could do it again i would have bought the best i could afford at the time. would have saved me alot of money in the long run, probably enough for a nice new lens.
