Hi IanC. Tx for coming on & posting.

I got lost with options but felt I needed an USB model, as my monitor takes it's speaker feeds from same socket the normal headphones would....I think. So I thought USB would make it easier. Well it does & it doesn't WHen plugged in the computer automatically diverts sound & microphone to it. Only problem is if you don't disconnect it you can't use your normal speakers. STill easier to pull USB I suppose.

I ended up paying £30 for Skype headset from Argos. It works really well & the microphone has background cancellation built in. You also find an inline volume control plus microphone kill switch.

Music is OK through it, but if you had the money Seinhezer do a set for around £100, which would be great for music aswell
