Microsoft to release 12 security patches
Microsoft will release 12 Security Update patches next week - the second largest number ever in one release; nine are intended for Windows issues,
two for Office, and one for the MS Exchange Server which is used by organisations to provide email services to its staff. It is expected that there will be a patch for the major vulnerability within MS Word which was reported on May 24th.
One of the Windows bulletins will change the way Internet Explorer handles ActiveX controls, a patch which had been offered on an elective basis previously but which will now be made permanent.
The patches will be issued on 13th June.
