Im assuming it was your entry in a certain Digital Photography Website that does loads of challenges.
My personal view of your picture is that its very simple and effective, but personally i would have preferred to have the objects causing the shadows removed and left to my own imagination as to what is causing them.
Just a personal POV but i think half the fun is guessing what caused them.
