Sandisk Extreme IV CF Cards

Not sure how/why this hasn't hit the web yet, but in today's issue of the British Journal of Photography, there's a news blurb about Sandisk's new Extreme IV line of CF cards.

I know from reading it earlier that they're releasing 2GB, 4GB and 8GB versions of these cards. Read & write speeds are set to be 40MB/sec and operating temperatures ranging from -25°C to 85°C.

Pricing will be around £89 (2GB), £176 (4GB) and £350 (8GB) for the cards.

Sandisk are also relasing a new FireWire card reader for this particular line of cards and there will be a bundle of this reader & the 4GB version available.

I popped over to the SanDisk website and noticed there would be a live press conference at 4:30PM Eastern Time... I guess this is when the cards will be officially announced.
