Re: printing large with epson r300

Some softwear has templates that allow to you construct large pictures from A4 (or any other size) paper.

I've use the software that came with my scanner to do this - HP director/view and print/creative printing. This allows 2 x 2, 3 x 3 and 4 x 4 posters. I've not even looked in my editing software for this feature, it may well be available in these packages.

However, be warned that these are very difficult to put together. I print with borders as if the print has gone off the edges, as they do with borderless printing, you may find that the prints will not match up due to slight inconsisatncies in the printing. My rotary trimmer is not really accurate enough to get the trimmed edges 100% square, and when you do this, you need it to be 100% square, belive me! finally, if you are going to use spray mount, you only get one chance to get it right!

I've done two. The second was better than the first, and if viewed from a distance they don't look bad.
