OK, so they don't take the best of shots, but I'm pretty impressed with what you can get out of them!
I've got a Sony Ericsson 750i and used it as my backup to my backup camera on a recent trip to Oz/NZ. Which meant in-aircraft shots (oops! Sorry, cabin crew, phone not off!) and evenings.
Here are a couple which aren't too shabby!
First sighting of Sydney
In-camera pano of my brothers's garden in Brisbane!
En route between Christchurch and Queenstown, NZ
Evening sailing at Queenstown, NZ
Amazing cinema in Wanaka, NZ. Seating was all old settees, armchairs, etc. We had airline seats (much comfier than the ones we'd travelled on!!) which still reclined! As you can see, even a Morris Minor!
Ads (which were all semi-p***takes, tho' genuine enterprises!) were seperated by shadow puppets on the screen (see pic - 'The Neighbour's Dog').
Of course there was an Intermission when food/drink served (including freshly baked cookies and homemade icecream). Superb!
A must for anyone visiting Wanaka (NZ South Island) - cinema easily spotted: there's a King Kong crawling out onto the roof!
