Hi fellow photo nuts!! lol I am John from the sunny, south coast resort of Bournemouth.

I am a Physiotherapist and Holistic Massage Therapist. I retired officially from the NHS about three years ago and I now practise privately from my home.

To keep my mind active I am doing a PhD in the Archaeology of Human Origins at the local University which is why I took up photography again after many years away. My first camera was a Brownie 127!!! which gives away my age a bit lol. Now I have my gorgeous Canon 20D which keeps me amused taking pictures of all the artefacts that I dig up. I also love taking pictures of old ecclesiastical buildings - monasteries and abbeys.

I was recommended this site as a great place to meet like minded guys and also learn a bit more about this great hobby of ours.
