Again a nice subject and the background does frame it. Nothing wrong with a grab much better to get the best shot you can than miss the moment worrying about technical or composition issues. If you had a bit more time then I would have opened up a bit to throw the background out, maybe shot from a lower angle and defintely balanced it out with some fill.
