Thanks for the comments so far.

It was a hot and sunny day, which makes the birds quite lethargic. I didn't use a monopod or tripod, I was just ambling around with the kids in tow and took some pictures. I'd downloaded them from the camera and forgotten about them, I hadn't considered them worthy of extra work.
