Adobe has released an update to the Lightroom beta - version 4.1 which can be downloaded from the Adobe website. The update fixes some bugs but doesn't have anything radical.

For those already using LR beta 4, you need to do the following in order for the update to be installed properly...

1. Uninstall the current version of Lightroom from Control Panel.

2. In Windows Explorer, delete the Lightroom folder in Program Files\Adobe\.

3. Start the beta 4.1 installer. If that gives you the option to Repair or Remove, choose Remove. Then run the installer again to install the new version.

As long as you don't delete the Lightroom folder in My Documents, which contains the database info, the new version should pick up all the existing data.

If you click on Help>About in LR, the build number should be 264255.
