Glad to have another Mono fan here
Many years ago I tried the B&W film, with own darkroom etc. Never got it right though....alll th e prints seemed just greys, instead of deep backs & brilliant whites
Having returned to photography through digitial, I now find I can get the Mono's I always yearned, through Photo Shop
Must admit though, the photographers who have mastered Mono film, are still hard to beat in terms of ultimate quality . Still something quite magical about film
