Ok, I admit it, this has been slightly retouched!
This is my nephew who is an absolute apple-addict. His mum said one day 'I swear if we cut your head open we'd find apples instead of a brain!'
That was the inspiration for me getting radical with Photoshop, mostly because I wanted to prepare something fun for tuition purposes when I give classes as it used a variety of techniques that I felt would be useful. It is obviously not designed to be serious and I also realise the apple pealer is hanging in mid-air so just use your imagination and believe the invisible man is holding it up.
He now has it poster size on his wall at university and I keep getting requests for more copies so I think he liked it! Hey, if he's flogging them, I should be up for some commission
