Re: Family Tree Advice.

My father's side of the family has all been done right back to 1272, a formidable tree by any standards. I thought about doing my mother's side but got to just two generations and gave up. Why? Because my sweet little grandmother wasn't quite as innocent as I had imagined! She had at least 11 children by at least 4 different fathers. Some were adopted, others fostered, others lived together. It is a whole spiders web and most of my mothers brothers and sisters are all gone as is my mother so I just can't summon the energy to tackle it!

My wife is doing her's and is doing ok, she has got back to the 1700's but is forever taking me off to places to look around cemeteries and things! Still, usually a decent stone to get a shot of somewhere :o)

I wish your father well with his searching and sorry this reply has not been the slightest help whatsoever!

Cheers,
Rob
