Got my new (used) laptop - started to put all my software on - and found I need to do windows updates............
Couldn't remember my router key password
No worries though - did a network search and used my neighbours unprotected service all afternoon - all updates complete and software loaded - bit of surfing to make sure everything worked ok
Finally remembered where I had written my key down - and yes I did go round and inform the neighbour ( and complimented him on speed of connection).
Moral being - ENCRYPT THAT CONNECTION
