LOL, to be honest, not a lot Dab. Until I moved to Poole when I was 22 I had never lived anywhere for more than 3 years and most places a lot less. I was born on the Herts/Essex border (Bishops Stortford and lived in Harlow) but then went to live with my uncle on Merseyside (Wallasey). My family moved to Luton when I was 5 and I moved back to them but I then spent the next 5 years in and out of foster homes, 9 separate families in that time plus the NCH in Harpenden so I lived in lots of places within 100 miles of Luton.
I then got packed off to a boarding school in Wolverhampton (which was nicknamed Colditz for good reason!) before escaping (literally) to go and live with my mum, now divorced, in Leeds. We had a short time out of Leeds, up in Bassenthwaite in the Lake District, then in Skipton before back into Leeds. I went into the RAF from school so moved around a bit during that time, first RAF Swinderby (no longer exists!) near Lincoln, then RAF Halton near Aylsebury with secondment to RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire. After that I went briefly back to Yorkshire but then down to Dunstable. Whilst living in Dunstable I was a professional actor so spent most of my time living out of a suitcase around the country, in Europe, particularly Holland and Belgium and 9 months split over 3 years in Chicago, USA.
And finally, I moved from Dunstable down to Poole where I now live and have never been happier.
There you go, that, in a couple of paragraphs is my residential life so far. Been around plenty, got to know the UK extremely well, love going to America but also travelling to different parts with my beloved wife and shooting most of it with my camera.
Bet you wish you hadn't asked now eh Dab?
Cheers,
Rob
