I think also that it is a very good shot. Photos taken in this environment are particularly awkward to frame, because you often don't have any natural borders to work with, the landscape just continues either side. But here i feel you have picked out an area within the landscape that holds it's own interests and captured it well.

One little thing, if you like taking images that include water (and sky for that matter), then a good investment would be a polarizing filter. If this was taken with a polarizing filter or you already have one then ignore this. It gives you different variations on the same image, you can get more or less reflection in the water and makes skies bluer and add saturation to foliage etc. Handy little filter to always carry.
