Hi all... I'm new to all of this so please bear with me. I am a happy owner of a 350D and I am looking to upgrade my stadard zoom lens. I have narrowed it down to two lens' which are in my budget. The Sigma 24-70Macro 2.8 or the Tamron 28-75 2.8. Does any one have any views/experience with any of these lens'???? Some thoughts I have... The Sigma seems heavy and it has a very large filter thread, is the macro facility any good???? The Tamron begins at 28mm I guess this would be limiting for my landscape photography.
