Lowepro R&D have taken advice ;)

Not long after getting my SlingShot 200AW bag (about a week after they were released) I emailed Lowepro to let them know what a bloody great product they had come up with for photojournalist photographers such as myself.

I included a few pictures of how I had managed to cram a pair of D2X bodies, 17-55DX, 70-200VR lens and SB-800 flash into this gem of a bag.

Lowepro customer services emailed me back, stating that the 200AW wasn't really designed to carry that sort of load. I replied saying that many a PJ needs a two body / two lens kit and the ability to carry such a load comfortably would be a boon... perhaps they should create a slightly wider bag and call it the 300

I didn't think anything of my comments until yesterday when I saw that, lo and behold, they've only bloody well gone and released a product that matched my suggestions!

Lowepro - SlingShot 300 AW

As you can see from the shot, it can comfortably hold a pro series body (or two) along with a host of accessories.

Anyone want to buy a slightly used 200AW in very good condition?

NOTE: please note that I'm not taking any credit for Lowepro releasing this bag - I'm certain that dozens if not hundreds of photographers suggested that they needed the convenience of the Slingshot series but in a larger form factor - and it's great to see that Lowepro listened
